This happened when I was still at the seminary.
MORNING Mass - Homily:
Priest: "One of the mental patient at the mental hospital shouted to a group of seminarians having their pastoral exposure there... WHY ARE YOU HIDING IN THAT WHITE SUTANA?"

The message was clear... why people hide their true selves with good appearance/s? In this scenario, it's more shameful because people are using God to hide their true identity, to hide their sinfulness. Why not confess it to God (through a priest of course) and be cleanse from sin.
Yes the story was TOUCHING.
While giving 'PUDING', a type or bread, to the mental patients during OUR pastoral exposure at the mental hospital, a patient asked me: "Ngano nagsuot ka anang puti nga sanina? (why are you wearing that white 'dress' - referring to the Alb/Sutana I was wearing)"
I WAS ASHAMED... :(
