Whazzup Everybody! Today am gonna share something, a very special thing that we Catholics Christians should know.
As Catholic Christian, from childhood we know that the head of the Church is the Pope. No doubt about it, but do you know who was our first pope? Do you know that our present pope, Pope Francis is the 266th pope? Even me, coming from a Catholic Seminary for 8 years didn't know, or I was not paying attention when Bishop Jorge Mario Bergoglio became Pope last March 13, 2013 as Pope Francis until am writing this post now that the Universal Church has 266 popes already since 33A.D. Wow, as in? since 33AD? Amen to that!
Inspired by Pope Francis' charisma and leadership, and his wacky photos,
I was curious about The other popes, so I decided to do some research about our popes. Where was I during our Church History class???. LOL!
Since I cannot contain all the information of each popes from 33 A.D. to present, I copied a list of Popes ' names and share this here... you may say "Who cares?" but by just noticing the dates when Peter the Apostle became the first pope of the Catholic Church up to now, it's Divinely Amazing. No ordinary organization (the Catholic Church isn't just an organization/church, She is instituted by Christ our Lord) can last that long.
