Traveling is one of the most beautiful thing human being discovered in his/her life.
Whazzup Everybody! a DIY Travel with Shutter-Up Studio - A Photo Phactory Team, KT Travel and Tours with Mom and Pop to Hillsview Mountian Villa at Marilog District, Davao City to experience the breath taking view of the villa as well as the famous sea of clouds. Sad to say we were not able to catch the sea of clouds due to our late travel time but the place is so magnificent and relaxing. No air pollution compared to city life.
If you want to catch the famous sea of clouds, be sure to travel at dawn like 3 AM if you are in Davao City already. There are lots of Travel Tour packages you can find on Facebook or just Do It Your own (DIY) travel.
The place is so picture perfect. Great for photo shoots, pre-nuptial shoots, for your social media like Facebook and Instagram because, damn, nature is perfectly beautiful.
Since the place is so picturesque, we took the opportunity of taking and making some photos.
With my sister and my Shutter Up Studio Team!
These folks are awesomely good!

Lower- 10,000 pesos good for up to 20 persons, in excess 200 per head
Package Lower and Upper 18,000 pesos good for up to 35 persons. In excess 200 per head..
Lower – 6,000 good for up to 10 persons
They also have new rooms to accommodate small group, depends on how many persons.
KEYS TO REMEMBER:
- Rough Road due to road widening
- Poor or No Signal
- Bring Water and lots of water
- Don't travel alone or without proper vehicle during nightfall, zero visibility! I don't recommend riding a habal-habal during this time.

Did you stay there overnight? How was your experience? Read lots of negative reviews about overnight stays at Hills View.
ReplyDeleteWe we're left traumatized and frustrated. I would not recommend it for overnight stays.
DeleteFor awareness, since I was blocked on their new page.
ReplyDeleteWe've already been to hills view last year. The place was nice and has a breathtaking view. That's why we really wanted to book for an overnight stay.
So last July 1, 2024, I inquired on their FB page and they offered us two rooms. One without a bathroom for 1500 and a suite room with own bathroom for 3500. We booked the one with a bathroom for more privacy and Immediately payed the whole amount.
July 7, Upon check in at 1pm, we first checked the bathroom and immediately noticed the faucet and the shower wasn't working. Also, the floor was very dusty I could feel some dirt sticking under my foot while walking around. As it was sunny that day, the room was kinda hot (understandable) but we weren't able to stay inside even for a few minutes. We went outside to look for the caretaker and inform them about our concern. They said they can provide a fan and explained that the shower were not really functional, and someone stayed in the room last night that's why it was dirty. Around 1:24 pm another caretaker came with a bucket and a mop and said she'll just clean it, like wth?? Why wasn't it prepared ahead of time? Why weren't we informed that the shower wasn't functional?
Imagine traveling 2-3 hours, booking a week before and paying extra to have an own private bathroom where you can't take a shower. Some of the caretakers even blamed us for coming too early when it was stated that check in is at 1pm.
We were so frustrated, we wanted to leave. We messaged the page and tried to contact the gcash number to request a 50% refund instead but no replies and calls were dropped.
Great place for day tours only, I wouldn't recommend it for overnight stay.
I saw some people also complained about the same issue on their old FB page. Someone also shared some links of blogs of bad experiences that's why I got here.
