So, what you should do to make your vlog/films to be successful in the cyber-world? You should have the skills to make it, remember SKILL, not TALENT . Skills can be acquired and learned.

The essential skill for a vlogger/film maker/YouTube videos is how you put your story in a creative way. I've know some film makers/vloggers who are damn good in B-roll and transitions, master in color grading, or they just take footage of a beautiful face with an amazing body... but they missed to have good content/story in their video. Some also have good content but not entertaining. Always remember that the focus span of netizens is only 10 to 15 seconds, if your video is not attention grabber, then most likely your viewers will not watch your video till the end.
So, plan your story properly. Meaning before taking shots, be sure you know how to patch your footage into a movie clip that tells a story... and make sure your story must be understandable to your audience or everyone.
